Prepare the Juice Mixture

  1. Pour 1/3 cup of fruit juice into a pot.

  2. Add 1/4 teaspoon of agar agar powder to the juice.

Cooking

  1. Bring the mixture to a boil.

  2. Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat to low.

  3. Stir the mixture continuously for one minute.

Forming the Caviar

  1. Using a dropper or syringe, drop the hot juice mixture into the very cold oil.

  2. The drops will form into small caviar-like spheres as they hit the cold oil.

Collecting the Caviar

  1. Once formed, strain the caviar from the oil.

  2. Rinse the caviar gently with cold water to remove any excess oil.

Tips

  • Grape juice works exceptionally well for making beautiful caviar, perfect for adding a unique touch to your dishes.
