Instructions

Prepare the Dough

  1. Mix yeast with warm water and a pinch of sugar. Let it rise.

  2. Add flour, salt, oil, and remaining warm water. Mix to form dough.

  3. Knead until smooth, then let it sit for 20 minutes.

Prepare the Filling

  1. Mix ground beef, onion, parsley, salt, pepper, and cumin.

Assemble the Chebureki

  1. Divide dough into 10 balls. Roll each into a thin circle.

  2. Place beef mixture in the center, flatten with fingers.

  3. Fold dough over filling, seal edges with fork.

Fry the Chebureki

  1. Heat olive oil over medium-low heat.

  2. Fry Chebureki until golden brown on both sides.

Serve

  1. Enjoy with tahini sauce and a fresh salad.
